Fair Housing (3-hour CE Core)
This 3-hour course (CE.4056001-RE, ETHICS) prepares students for continued practice in Nevada's changing real estate market.
The course objectives:
- Create Awareness of Fair Housing and American's With Disabilities Acts
- Define the protected classes and rights of those persons with disabilities.
- Explain Equal Rights and Fair Housing by Providing Examples and Stories
- Provide general understanding of the Agents' Obligations under Fair Housing and Americans With Disabilities Act

Renewal Requirements:
Second and Subsequent Renewals:
1. 24 Hours of Commission approved real estate Continuing Education to be completed before the end of each 2-year period (for a total of 48 hours) as follows:
Real Estate Salespersons:
- 12 hours of required courses include 3 hours each of : Agency, Contracts, Ethics, and Law & Legislation; and
- 12 hours of elective credits in designated (Agency, Contracts, Ethics and Law & Legislation) and/or General courses, with an optional 3 hours (maximum) in personal development.
Real Estate Broker or Broker Salespersons:
- 15 hours of required courses include 3 hours each of: Agency, Contracts, Ethics, Law & Legislation, and Broker Management; and
- 9 hours of elective credits in designated (Agency, Contracts, Ethics and Law & Legislation) and/or General courses, with an optional 3 hours (maximum) in personal development.
2. For licenses expiring on or AFTER July 1, 2013, at least 50% of the required education in each 2-year period must be taken through live instruction.
3. Proof of completion of the required continuing education must be provided to the Division before the end of each 2-year period.
4. Renewal Fee
$360.00 for sales license; or
$440.00 for broker and broker-sales licenses

First-Time Renewal
30 hours Post-License education.

The renewal deadline is the last day of the month in which the license was first obtained.
We are notified of your course completion when you pass the final exam and complete the course survey. Course completions are periodically processed in batches during which we will provide you your completion certificate and notify the Nevada Real Estate Commission of your completion.
